World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment.

Jamaica Moves is the country’s coordinated national response to the increased incidence of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as certain cancers, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and stroke.

Through education, engagement and the building of supportive environments, the campaign hopes to reduce NCDs by 25% by the year 2025.
